Mark A. Schrumpf, MD – Castle Connolly Top Doctor 2026

2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctors Mark Schrumpf

I am pleased to share that I have been named to the Castle Connolly Top Doctors list for 2026. This recognition is awarded to approximately 7% of physicians across the country and is determined through a peer-nomination process, reviewed and vetted by Castle Connolly’s physician-led research team. Being selected two years in a row is something I don’t take for granted.

Shoulder care is deeply personal work. Every patient who comes to me is dealing with pain that affects their daily life, such as the ability to reach overhead, sleep through the night, or return to the activities they love. Being recognized by peers who understand the demands of this specialty is meaningful, but what matters most to me is the outcome for each individual patient.

To the patients and families I’ve had the privilege of caring for across Northern California, thank you. Your trust is what drives this work forward. I look forward to continuing to provide the highest level of orthopedic care to the Bay Area community in the year ahead.
